New camera kit makes CCTV surveys crystal clear

When it comes to unblocking drains, we often recommend CCTV surveys. But filming in a dark, enclosed space filled with wastewater or sewage doesn't always give you a clear picture.

We want to give our clients better, quicker results, so we're excited to reveal the latest addition to our armoury – the Proteus CCTV Crawler system from Mini-Cam.

The new system allows us to give you much-improved drainage CCTV surveys, which will give you faster, clearer results.

High-resolution footage

The front-mounted pan & rotate zoom camera, coupled with high powered ultra-bright LED lighting, allows us to inspect drain faults in incredible detail, even when obstructions block the way.

Quicker results

The crystal clear camera footage is wirelessly sent to the office to save download times and potential file transfer errors, which means the survey can be reviewed and processed faster and with more accuracy.

Longer life

The camera system is fully portable and the battery pack gives up to 5 hours of uninterrupted inspection time.

Additional reporting

As well as providing better clarity CCTV images, the Proteus crawler can relay important additional information such as speed, pressure, inclination and ambient temperature. 

We'll be testing out the system during staff training over the next couple of weeks, before putting it into regular service.
