Experienced Drainage Engineer & Trainee Drainage Engineer Required
A post has become available within the company for both an experienced drainage engineer and a trainee drainage engineer (full driving license required for both positions)
Experienced Drainage Engineer is required to have knowledge and experience within the industry including dealing with blockages of all natures, using high pressure jetting units and carrying out CCTV Surveying of both small and large projects.
Experience in Drain Lining and small repairs is advantageous but not essential.
The successful applicant must also be able to aid in training trainee engineers
Trainee Drainage Engineer will be required to work as a team learning the drainage industry and how to carry out works including CCTV surveying, Drain Cleaning, Drain Repairs, clearing blocked drains etc.
A basic working week comprises of 40 hours (Mon-Fri), however, start and finish times may vary depending on clients needs. Overtime is available most weeks including weekend work.
The successful applicants will also be required to be part of a rota system which currently includes call outs and weekends. All of which is paid additionally to the basic wage. The rota system currently comprises of 1 late week and 1 weekend day in every 5 weeks, with overtime also being availible at other times
The starting rate is dependable on experience. A 3-month probationary period for the successful applicant will be used, which will then be reviewed. Any overtime is at time-and-a-half, with additional pay allowances for late shifts and call, all of which is paid weekly.
